Atlético Madrid reignites the Mason Greenwood pursuit

Atlético Madrid has entered the race for Mason Greenwood. According to information from L'Équipe, the Colchoneros have submitted an offer to Olympique de Marseille in an attempt to secure the services of the English forward.

The Madrid proposal is said to be worth 45 million euros, with an additional 5 million euros in bonuses. This amount surpasses the bid made by Fenerbahçe, who are also very active in this transfer saga. However, the Turkish club is not out of the running yet. Their salary offer is reportedly more attractive for Greenwood, which keeps them as serious contenders.

Despite this, Atlético Madrid could gain the upper hand thanks to their sporting project. A move to La Liga is particularly appealing to the former Manchester United player, who is reportedly eager to work under Diego Simeone’s leadership.
