Five days after suffering a serious injury during the Club World Cup quarter-final between PSG and Bayern, Jamal Musiala has finally broken his silence.

Jamal Musiala was badly injured against PSG in the Club World Cup quarter-finals. The incident followed a heavy collision with Gianluigi Donnarumma. The German international suffered a severe injury to his left ankle.

Since then, the footballer has undergone surgery. Meanwhile, Donnarumma, visibly shaken by the incident, came under criticism, notably from Manuel Neuer. However, Jamal Musiala holds no grudge against Gigio.

On Wednesday, the young German star addressed his injury on his Instagram account. "I wanted to thank you all for the love and support you have shown me. It means a lot to me. It’s amazing to see how the football world comes together in moments like this, and I am truly grateful. The surgery was a success, and I am being well taken care of. There is no one to blame. These things happen from time to time. I will use this upcoming period to recover, both physically and mentally." he said.
