Scouts from various European clubs have been hard at work in recent weeks.

After turning out in large numbers in Morocco to follow the Africa Cup of Nations U-17 tournament, they then headed to Egypt to scout the continent's premier U-20 competition.

Several rising stars have caught the eye of talent hunters, most notably the two South African prospects Jody Ah-Shene and Tylon Smith, who stood out at the U-20 AFCON.

Speaking to South African broadcaster SABC Sport, Belgian club scout Bernard Yao Kumordzi admitted he was thrilled by the performances of these two Amajita jewels.

What should you know about Jody Ah-Shene?

The South African striker netted once and provided an assist in five U-20 AFCON matches. Additionally, he has featured in 14 games for his club Cape Town City FC, scoring one goal.

The Stellenbosch defender was a key figure in South Africa's impressive run at this year's U-20 AFCON.
