African football fans are eagerly awaiting the CAF Champions League group stage draw for the 2025 /26 season which takes place this Monday in Johannesburg, South Africa.
When and where to watch the draw live
The CAF Champions League draw will be held today, Monday 3 November 2025 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
- Start time: 12:00 PM (GMT)
- Broadcast: beIN Sports News (free to air)
- Pre show: Coverage begins at 11:00 PM with the CAF Confederation Cup draw taking place first.
The 16 qualified clubs
A total of 16 teams have booked their spot in the prestigious group stage led by some of the continent’s biggest names.
Pot allocations and possible scenarios
- According to CAF rankings, Al Ahly FC (EGY), Mamelodi Sundowns (RSA), Esperance Sportive de Tunis (TUN), RS Berkane (MAR) will feature in Pot 1.
- While Simba SC (TAN), Pyramids FC (EGY), Al Hilal SC (SUD), Young Africans (TAN) are placed in Pot 2.
- Pot 3: Atletico Petroleos (ANG), AS FAR (MAR), MC Alger (ALG), Rivers United FC (NGA)
