This Saturday at 3.00 pm at the TP Mazembe Stadium, the Corbeaux host Medeama SC from Ghana for the second leg of the first qualifying round of the CAF Champions League.

Having won 0–1 in the first leg in Ghana, Slimane Raho’s men hold the advantage and are determined to turn it into qualification.

Making their mark on their return

The Algerian coach’s message is clear. At a press conference, Slimane Raho set out the plan: “We want to score, win and show everyone what we’re capable of. We don’t play in African competitions just for the sake of it, but to show everyone what we’re capable of. And that’s down to our commitment, focus and hard work. And as the head coach, I must set a good example.”

A win or a draw to progress

The situation is straightforward for the Congolese. With their one-goal lead from the first leg to Medeama SC, the Badiangwenas need only a draw to progress to the second and final preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
