Senegal heads into the break on top, leading Sudan 2-1 after the opening 45 minutes of this first round of 16 clash in the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025).

The Lions were stunned early by a goal from Aamir Abdallah, but quickly turned the tide with a brace from Pape Gueye.

The 2019 AFCON champions were seriously shaken in the first half by a Sudanese side that looked fired up and ready to challenge.
