CAN U 20 years - Group A: presentation, squad and schedule of Egypt
Egypt is touted as one of the major contenders for the final triumph in the Africa Cup of Nations U 20 years, which it will host from April 27 to May 8.

Placed in Pool A, the young "Pharaohs" will face Sierra Leone, Zambia, South Africa, and Tanzania.
Presentation of Egypt U 20 years
The Egyptian junior team has won the CAN U 20 years four times in the past, specifically in the editions of 1981, 1991, 2003, and 2013.
In 1981, they triumphed in the final against Cameroon (3-1) on aggregate over two legs. Ten years later, they won the final against Ivory Coast (2-1), before repeating the feat against the same opponent in 2003 with a penalty shootout victory (4-3). Finally, they claimed the 2013 edition against Ghana, also on penalties (5-4).
