CAN U-20: New destination for the tournament's top scorer

Sierra Leonean striker Momoh Kamara has signed with the American franchise Minnesota United.

According to consistent sources, he will play for the Minneapolis-based club on a loan deal.

An excellent move for the Lone Stars' sensation who made his mark during the ongoing Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Kambia Town native leads the tournament's top scorers chart with an impressive tally of four goals.

It's worth recalling that he particularly shone against Egypt, netting a hat-trick in that match.

Trained in his home country, Kamara had his first overseas stint in Nigeria with Ladegbuwa before moving to Portugal to play for Leixões B.

He has already made two appearances for the senior national team, recording a single assist against Guinea-Bissau in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
