CAN U-20: Standings of the best third-placed teams after the second matchday

The race for a spot in the quarter-finals of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations is heating up in this 25th edition.

In addition to the top two teams from each group, the two best third-placed teams will also secure their ticket to the next round.

As a reminder, the tournament features 13 nations split into 3 groups.

Before the third matchday, the standings for the best third-placed teams are as follows:

2- South Africa 3 points

3- Senegal 1 point
