CAN U-20: The top 10 oldest players in the tournament
Several players over the age of 20 were permitted to participate in the final stage of the Africa Cup of Nations U-20 tournament.
The regulations of the Confederation of African Football allow players who were under 20 at the time of the qualifiers to take part in the tournament:

Here is the ranking of the oldest players at the CAN U-20:
1/ Shekhani Khamis (Tanzania): 22 years, 8 months, and 17 days old at the time of his first match in the competition.
2/ Mohamed Raafat (Egypt): 20 years, 4 months, and 1 day old at the time of his first match in the competition.
3/ Omar Osama Hassan (Egypt): 20 years, 4 months, and 1 day old at the time of his first match in the competition.
4/ Ahmed Wahid (Egypt): 20 years, 4 months, and 1 day old at the time of his first match in the competition.
5/ Patrick Autata (South Africa): 20 years, 4 months, and 1 day old at the time of his first match in the competition.
6/ Mohanad Mohamed (Egypt U20): 20 years, 3 months, and 29 days old at the time of his first match in the competition.
7/ Wajdi Issaoui (Tunisia): 20 years, 3 months, and 29 days old at the time of his first match in the competition.

8/ Youssef Abdelhafiz (Egypt): 20 years, 3 months, and 28 days old at the time of his first match in the competition.
9/ Mohamed Bai Kamara (Sierra Leone): 20 years, 3 months, and 26 days old at the time of his first match in the competition.
10/ Ilias Boumassaoudi (Morocco): 20 years, 3 months, and 23 days old at the time of his first match in the competition.
