The Congolese prodigy Messy Manitu has made a name for himself in this latest edition of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The Congolese "Messi," as he is affectionately called, put on a show in all three group stage matches against Ghana, the Central African Republic, and Senegal.

- Born in Kinshasa, he trained in France, specifically with Kinshasa. He was promoted to the first team at the start of the current season.
- He has appeared in 13 matches in Ligue 2 and the Coupe de France, but has yet to score a goal or provide an assist.

- He can play as a right winger, playmaker, or even as a center forward.
- Thanks to his two assists, he currently leads the assists chart (2) at the CAN U-20, tied with Senegal's Cheikh Tidiane Thiam.
- He is under contract with Amiens until 2027, and his market value is estimated at 50,000 euros.
