Champions League: Bayern confirm a withdrawal ahead of PSG clash (official)

Bayern have just officially confirmed a withdrawal ahead of their trip to Parc des Princes to take on PSG in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.

Just two days before the first leg of the Champions League semi-final between PSG and Bayern Munich, the German club has suffered a fresh setback. After their dramatic win in Mainz (3-4), the Bavarian side will have to do without Raphaël Guerreiro for both legs of the tie.

The Portuguese international has suffered a thigh injury and will miss both matches. That's a major blow for Vincent Kompany as he prepares for this crucial showdown.

"Raphaël Guerreiro has suffered a minor muscle tear in the back of his left thigh. This was revealed by an examination carried out by the FC Bayern medical team. The 32-year-old is therefore unavailable for the time being," the club announced.
