Champions League: UEFA sanctions Bayern Munich! (Official)
Bayern Munich has avoided a heavy UEFA punishment after incidents against Real Madrid, but will have to pay a significant fine before facing PSG.
Bayern Munich's qualification for the Champions League semi-finals did not come without consequences. After their spectacular victory over Real Madrid, crowd trouble in the stands led to injuries among photographers on the sidelines.
The partial pitch invasion by Bavarian supporters, who rushed to celebrate with the players, immediately caught UEFA’s attention. The German club was facing the prospect of a partial stadium closure for the remainder of the competition.
