CHAN 2024: Éric Chelle "doesn't want to talk about Congo"

The head coach of the Home Eagles, Éric Chelle, is determined to keep his feet on the ground ahead of Nigeria's debut at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

Set to face Senegal this Tuesday at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar, the Nigerians will go up against the defending champions. Kick-off for this highly anticipated clash is scheduled for 6 p.m. Lagos time. Drawn in Group D alongside Congo and Sudan, Chelle prefers not to look too far ahead:

I don't want to talk about Congo or Sudan at the moment. Our priority is this first match against Senegal. We want to move forward match by match, step by step.
