Just days before Algeria vs. Argentina, the South American press is sounding the alarm for the Albiceleste: the Fennecs are formidable, and memories of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar still linger.

In Kansas City, the Argentine press isn’t under any illusions. On the eve of this high-stakes clash with Algeria, South American journalists on the ground openly acknowledge that the Fennecs are serious contenders.
