The group stage of the 2025 African Nations Championship continues this Tuesday, August 5. This historic edition is being hosted for the very first time jointly by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

This exceptional tournament will run until August 30, serving as a warm-up for the organization of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 in these same countries.

African football fans are in for a treat today, with two exciting fixtures on the agenda. Sudan will take on the Republic of Congo at 14:00 GMT, before a much-anticipated clash between reigning 2023 champions Senegal and Nigeria at 16:00 GMT.

When it comes to broadcast coverage, the matches will be aired live on several CAF partner channels, including: beIN SPORTS, Canal+, New World TV, and IMG.

As a reminder, Senegal clinched the last edition of the tournament after a thrilling final against Algeria, which was decided by a penalty shootout (5-4).
