Club World Cup: Espérance sticks with the same squad

Unlike their two rivals, Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns, Espérance de Tunis will head into the Club World Cup without any new signings.

There were plans to sign Syrian international Omar Al-Somah, but the Tunisian club was ultimately unable to finalize the transfer before the June 10 deadline.

In the end, the Tunisian champions will rely primarily on the players who delivered a treble in the 2024-2025 season (the league, the Cup, and the Super Cup).
