Two African players have been named in the team of the round of 16 at the Club World Cup, according to rankings from the specialist site SofaScore.

They are Moroccan Achraf Hakimi, the powerhouse of Paris Saint-Germain, and Guinean Serhou Guirassy, the prolific striker from Borussia Dortmund.

Both players played pivotal roles in helping their respective clubs qualify for the Club World Cup quarter-finals, eliminating Inter Miami and Monterrey in the process.
