Enyimba sink deeper into NPFL relegation trouble after Ranchers Bees defeat
Enyimba's hopes of climbing out of the Nigeria Premier Football League relegation zone suffered another blow on Sunday, with the nine-time champions leaving Minna empty-handed after a difficult afternoon against Ranchers Bees.
Okorie's strike separates both teams
Chiedozie Okorie scored the decisive goal in the 43rd minute, firing from outside the penalty area to hand Ranchers Bees a valuable 1-0 victory at the Bako Kontagora Stadium.
Enyimba had opportunities to take the lead before the breakthrough. Bala's cross forced goalkeeper Tofa to punch clear in the 14th minute, while Ganiu and Zulkifilu also threatened without finding the net.

The visitors continued to search for an equaliser after the break. Tobi Iyanda came close in the 54th minute, but Tofa tipped his effort over the bar.
Enyimba thought they had levelled in the 82nd minute when Emeka headed home Bello's free-kick, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. Obodoagu also missed a late opportunity in the 87th minute.
Enyimba remain in relegation zone
The defeat leaves Enyimba 18th with 11 points from 12 matches, having recorded three wins, two draws and seven losses.
Their away form remains a major concern, with the point earned against Kano Pillars on Matchday 6 still their only return from their previous five away fixtures.
Ranchers Bees move above the Aba club into 17th place with 12 points from 11 matches. Although they remain in the relegation zone, the victory ends a six-match winless run and gives them a crucial advantage over Enyimba.
