He developed his game in France with stints at Villepinte FC (2007-2009), Sevran FC (2010-2011), Espérance Aulneysienne (2011-2014), Blanc-Mesnil SF (2014-2016), and AS Monaco (2016-2017).

In 2019, he was signed by English side Bristol City for a fee of 8 million euros.
