Hansi Flick: extension deal already in place with Barça

FC Barcelona is working behind the scenes to secure the future of their head coach Hansi Flick, who arrived in 2024 and is already at the heart of the Catalan sporting project.

The Barça management intends to extend the German coach's contract until 2028. The agreement is said to be virtually finalized, pending official confirmation depending on the end-of-season results. The club is also considering adding an automatic extension clause through to 2029. The goal is clear: to guarantee long-term stability for the project and eliminate any uncertainty on the bench.

Deeply involved in developing La Masia's young talents, Flick is said to be enjoying his experience in Barcelona. However, he is pushing for a more balanced squad, specifically with experienced players aged 26-28 to boost the team's immediate competitiveness.
