"I want my assistant".. yet another outburst from Marc Brys

The head coach of Cameroon, Marc Brys, has launched yet another outburst just days before the match against Eswatini, which counts towards the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Unable to have his assistant Joachim Mununga on the substitutes' bench, the Belgian coach did not hesitate to challenge the decision of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT).

I'm already used to Samuel Eto'o. We will work together FECAFOOT-MINSEP to find a situation that will give us the best chance to win matches. I can't work with people I don't know who are less competent. I need my assistant. I've been working with him for over 7 years. We know each other perfectly and have a more effective relationship. I need him on the bench. I have the right. I am the head coach and I decide who should be on the bench as in other countries. But apparently in Cameroon, it's not like that.

Once again, the Cameroon national team finds itself forced to prepare its matches under tension due to the conflict between head coach Marc Brys and FECAFOOT president Samuel Eto'o.
