International break: C. Bellaarouch in Regragui's plans
Young goalkeeper Chouaib Bellaarouch will be called up by Walid Regragui, head coach of the “Atlas Lions,” for the upcoming international break scheduled for next June.

Morocco will face Benin and Tunisia as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers as well as the final tournament of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025.
According to the Moroccan newspaper Almountakhab, coach Walid Regragui has decided to call up the U17 national team’s last line of defense ahead of the two friendlies in June.

It’s worth noting that the North African squad will be without Yassine Bounou, Al Hilal’s goalkeeper, and Mehdi Benabid, Wydad’s shot-stopper, as both will be competing in the Club World Cup with their respective teams.
