Joseph Baffoe set for Örebro SK move

Without a club since leaving Halmstads BK last winter, Joseph Baffoe looks set to make his return in Superettan.

According to information from Nerikes Allehanda, the Swedish-Ghanaian central defender is about to sign with Örebro SK. The 32-year-old brings a wealth of experience, coming off a solid season in Allsvenskan where he made 24 appearances and scored one goal. Having previously played for IFK Värnamo, Helsingborgs IF, and Germany's Eintracht Braunschweig, Baffoe arrives with invaluable experience for a struggling side.

Currently sitting at the bottom of the table after 19 matches, the Black and Whites are seven points adrift of the relegation playoff spot. Baffoe’s contract is expected to run until the end of the season, with the clear mission of shoring up the defense and bringing much-needed experience to the squad.
