Draw results for the 2026-2027 Confederation Cup

The draw for the preliminary rounds of the 2026-2027 CAF Confederation Cup took place this Wednesday at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt.

This new edition brings together 56 clubs, eight of which have been granted direct entry into the second preliminary round, exempted from the first round.

The exempted teams are: Al Ahly (Egypt), USM Alger (Algeria), CR Belouizdad (Algeria), Raja Casablanca (Morocco), AS FAR (Morocco), Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa), Maniema Union (DR Congo) and Azam FC (Tanzania).

It is worth noting that the first preliminary round matches will take place from September 4 to 13, 2026, while the second preliminary round is set for October 16 to 25, 2026.
