Liverpool are monitoring Camara’s situation

At 22, Lamine Camara has established himself as an important player for AS Monaco. Last season, the Senegal international scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists in 24 Ligue 1 matches. Chelsea tried to sign him in the final hours of the summer transfer window to strengthen their midfield, but the deal ultimately fell through.

Since then, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly been among the clubs interested in the player. According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool are said to have been in contact with Camara’s representatives to gather information about a potential deal. However, these discussions do not mean that a transfer is imminent.

A departure could be considered in January

A move during the winter transfer window is reportedly among the possibilities being considered for the player. For now, no official offer from Liverpool has been reported, and Camara remains under contract with Monaco until June 2029. The Senegalese midfielder began the new season with an assist in five appearances in Ligue 1.

His profile therefore continues to attract attention in England, with several suitors potentially positioning themselves in the coming months. Liverpool are thus one of the clubs to watch in this matter, although a potential move to Anfield has yet to materialise.
