Liverpool Legend Warns: This Could Be Salah’s Final Season at Anfield

Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey's shared his thoughts on Mohamed Salah’s future suggesting that the 2025 season could mark the end of the Egyptian superstar’s time at Anfield.

"Liverpool must plan for what's next"

In recent interview, Heskey said:

"This might be Salah’s final season at Liverpool. But I wouldn’t panic , this's natural phase"

However, he stressed the importance of planning ahead:

"What worries me more is how Liverpool prepares for life after him. When Salah first arrived, no one expected him to be this incredible for so long"

Replacing Salah? Almost impossible

Heskey admitted the Reds face uphill task:

"Now we’re all hoping to find the next Salah , someone who can score goals, entertain and be adored like him. Replacing him is nearly impossible especially with his numbers"

He added:

"He’s aging and slowdown will come eventually. But for now, his goal scoring and work rate remain outstanding"

Looking ahead to next season’s Premier League top scorer race, Heskey backed tight contest:

"It will be between Salah & Haaland. I also rate Isak highly , he’s strong contender too".
