Nolhan Courtens joins the Netherlands

At just 18 years old, Nolhan Courtens is taking a new step in his young career.

The Congolese (DRC) attacking midfielder leaves the Young Reds and has officially signed with SC Heerenveen, a club competing in the Eredivisie. The Dutch club announced the news on their Twitter account, stating that the player has signed a contract running until June 2027, with an additional year as an option.

Courtens is regarded as a promising young talent. Gifted with excellent vision and strong positional sense, he now hopes to make his mark in the Dutch top flight and continue his development in an environment renowned for nurturing young players.
