Official: Amadou Haidara has joined RC Lens!

Amadou Haidara is leaving RB Leipzig to join RC Lens as of January 1st. RC Lens announced the transfer ahead of the winter transfer window, signing him on a deal until 2029 for a fee of €2 million, with an additional €1 million in performance-related bonuses.

Amadou Haidara arrives at RC Lens from RB Leipzig, where he spent seven seasons and played over 200 official matches. The midfielder has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Sang et Or, making him their first signing of the winter. The 27-year-old will not immediately join his new teammates, as Haidara is currently in Morocco competing in the Africa Cup of Nations with Mali.

“A signing that can’t wait! Even before the winter transfer window opens, Racing strengthens its midfield with the arrival of Amadou Haidara from RasenBallsport Leipzig (Bundesliga),” reads the official statement from the Sang et Or.
