Official: Calvin Kabuye sent out on loan

Lacking playing time at Mjällby AIF, Calvin Kabuye will try to revive his season elsewhere.

The club has announced the loan of the 22-year-old Ugandan striker to Varbergs BoIS, a Superettan side, for the remainder of the campaign. Signed last winter from Sandvikens IF, Calvin Kabuye was unable to establish himself in the Mjällby squad. He has only played four matches in the Allsvenskan since his arrival.

This loan move appears to be an opportunity for the player to regain form and confidence in a less competitive environment.
