PSG: Major blow for Kvaratskhelia

Paris Saint-Germain is already facing significant attacking woes. After injuries to Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué, it was Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s turn to leave the pitch injured this Saturday.

During the match against RC Lens, the Georgian winger was forced off after less than 30 minutes due to a calf tear sustained in a duel with Malang Sarr. He was replaced by 17-year-old prospect Ibrahim Mbaye.

Dembélé and Doué were already sidelined due to injuries picked up during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with their national teams. Their availability for the upcoming Champions League clash against FC Barcelona remains in doubt.

In the end, PSG still secured a 2-0 victory over Lens thanks to Bradley Barcola.
