José Mourinho has no intention of easing the pressure after Real Madrid's victory over FC Barcelona. A week after that Clasico success, Los Merengues return to La Liga with an away trip to Racing Santander. For this match, the Portuguese coach could make several changes while retaining the main principles of his setup.

Courtois returns in goal, Valverde could be rested

First of all, Thibaut Courtois is expected to return to the starting XI after missing the Clasico due to flu. In defence, Denzel Dumfries is tipped to occupy the right flank in place of Federico Valverde, whose physical condition remains a source of some uncertainty. Ibrahima Konaté and Dean Huijsen could form the centre-back pairing, while Marc Cucurella would start on the left.

Mourinho is expected to retain the partnership between Aurélien Tchouaméni and Bernardo Silva in midfield. The two players could be joined by Jude Bellingham, who would be tasked with operating in a more attacking role. On the wings, Arda Güler and Yan Diomande could start to provide service for Kylian Mbappé, who is once again expected to lead the Madrid attack.

Real Madrid will nevertheless have to cope without Vinícius Júnior. The Brazilian is serving the third of his four-match suspension and will therefore miss this match as well. Real Madrid's probable XI:

Courtois – Dumfries, Konaté, Huijsen, Cucurella – Tchouaméni, Bernardo Silva, Bellingham – Diomande, Güler – Mbappé.
