On the eve of the UEFA Champions League play-off second leg between Real Madrid and SL Benfica, a fresh concern is stirring within the Madrid camp. Kylian Mbappé will not feature, ruled out of this decisive clash due to a knee problem.

According to information revealed by the show El Chiringuito de Jugones, the French striker is currently favoring a cautious medical approach to avoid any worsening of his injury.

"Mbappé wants to opt for a conservative treatment for his knee... but if the situation doesn't improve, a minor procedure cannot be ruled out."

This scenario could force the captain of the French national football team to undergo surgery if his condition does not improve favorably.
