Robert Lewandowski: the Pole’s future hangs in the balance

Robert Lewandowski is at a pivotal crossroads with FC Barcelona. Under contract until June 30, 2026, the Polish striker remains focused on his performances and recently netted a brace against Newcastle United in the Champions League, proving he is still a key figure for the Catalan club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Lewandowski is weighing several possibilities with his inner circle. Staying at Barcelona is the preferred scenario, but the forward could also make a move to MLS or Saudi Arabia. An extension with the Spanish club might require a salary adjustment, something Lewandowski is reportedly willing to consider.

For now, no decision has been made. The Polish international may make his choice in April, after the Champions League quarterfinals against Atlético Madrid. This season, he has played 36 matches, scored 16 goals and provided 3 assists, confirming that he remains a major asset despite the passing years.
