Barcelona’s Rodri was all smiles after watching his side defeat Sevilla 3-1 on Saturday, keeping their flawless start to the season intact.

An outstanding performance by Barcelona against Sevilla

Although Sevilla struck first, Barcelona responded strongly and secured all three points, with Raphinha scoring a hat-trick.

Speaking to the media afterward, Rodri pointed out three players he believed were key to the victory: “For me, today Rapha was outstanding, Lamine was also very good, and Adeyemi, I really liked how he came on in the second half.”

The Spain international added: “We’re not going to lose our rhythm, we’re going to keep competing. We need to keep in mind that these are important matches and come back in the best possible shape.”

Barcelona heads into the season's first international break with a perfect record, having won all their matches. They secured seven La Liga victories and also claimed an impressive win over Feyenoord Rotterdam at the Camp Nou; this has eased the pressure on the squad ahead of the break, allowing them to return with renewed energy.
