Sevilla FC - Barça: Hansi Flick's squad has been announced! (Official)
Unbeaten leaders after six matchdays, FC Barcelona travel to Seville with a squad of 23 players called up by Hansi Flick.
FC Barcelona continue their perfect start to the season this Saturday with a trip to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán to face Sevilla FC on matchday 7 of La Liga. Kick-off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. For this fixture, Hansi Flick has selected a squad of 23 players.
Barça's squad against Sevilla
Goalkeepers: Wojciech Szczęsny, Dominik Livaković, I. Rodríguez.
Defenders: João Cancelo, Alejandro Balde, Pau Cubarsí, X. Espart, Andreas Christensen, Gerard Martín, Jules Koundé, Eric García.
Midfielders: Gavi, Fermín López, Pedri, Rodrigo, Dani Olmo, Marc Bernal.
Forwards: Gabriel Jesus, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Karim Adeyemi, Anthony Gordon, Abdelkarim.
Barça firing on all cylinders
The Blaugrana's latest match once again confirmed their attacking strength. On Wednesday, Barça thrashed Racing Santander 7-2 at Spotify Camp Nou, with Raphinha scoring a hat-trick, along with goals from João Cancelo, Gabriel Jesus and Lamine Yamal. This display against Racing allowed the Catalans to record a sixth win in six matchdays.
Their league record is therefore perfect: 18 points from 18, 28 goals scored and just 6 conceded. In all competitions, Barcelona have also won all seven of their matches this season, scoring 33 goals.
An attacking record after just six matchdays
With 28 goals after six matchdays, Barça have broken their own record for goals scored at this stage of a La Liga season. The club's previous record was 23 goals, set in 1950-1951 and equalled in 2011-2012. One has to go back to the 1940-1941 season to find a more prolific La Liga team after six matchdays, when Sevilla had scored 32 goals.
One win apiece last season
The two meetings in the 2025-2026 season produced two completely different scenarios. On October 5, 2025, Sevilla handed Barça their first defeat of the La Liga season with a 4-1 victory at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. Marcus Rashford scored the Catalans' only goal.
In the return fixture, on March 15, 2026, Barcelona took ample revenge at Camp Nou with a 5-2 victory, thanks in particular to a hat-trick from Raphinha. Hansi Flick and his men therefore return to Seville with a difficult recent memory, but in very different form this season.
