Saudi Pro League: the 20 highest weekly salaries for the 2026-27 season

With the Saudi transfer window now closed, the 2026-27 salary ranking highlights the enormous financial gap between Cristiano Ronaldo and the league’s other stars.

Two days after the Saudi transfer window closed, squads are now largely set for the 2026-27 campaign. According to the ranking published by Actu SPL, Cristiano Ronaldo remains by far the highest-paid player in the league, earning around €4 million per week at Al-Nassr. That equates to roughly €208 million over a full year, more than five times the weekly salary of teammate Sadio Mané, who ranks second on €769,000.

The Senegal star sits ahead of compatriot Kalidou Koulibaly, third on €667,000 per week at Al-Hilal. African players are well represented in the Top 20 through Mané, Koulibaly, Mohamed Simakan and Édouard Mendy.

Al-Nassr are defending champions, but Al-Hilal lead the new season

On the sporting side, Al-Nassr are the defending champions. Ronaldo’s club won the 2025-26 Saudi Pro League after recording 28 victories in 34 matches and finishing two points ahead of Al-Hilal. The early 2026-27 standings have reversed that order, with Al-Hilal currently top on 15 points after six matches, three ahead of Al-Nassr.

The two Riyadh rivals also account for a large share of the league’s biggest salaries. Behind them, Al-Ahli remain prominent in the ranking through Ivan Toney and Édouard Mendy. The figures shown are salary estimates rather than official contract details published by the clubs.
