It's official! Real Madrid will face FC Barcelona in the 2026 Spanish Super Cup final. Los Blancos secured their spot after defeating Atletico Madrid 2-1 in the second semi-final.

On Thursday evening, Real Madrid punched their ticket to the Spanish Super Cup final by overcoming Atletico Madrid (2-1) in Jeddah. Even without Kylian Mbappé, the Merengues made a thunderous start, courtesy of a sensational free-kick from Valverde, rocketing into the top corner (2').

Right after the break, Real doubled their lead with a perfectly executed move finished by Rodrygo (55'). The Colchoneros, showing more attacking intent and creating several big chances, pulled one back through Sørloth (58'), but couldn't find the equalizer against their city rivals.

On Sunday, it's set: the Clasico will headline the final of this Spanish Super Cup, with Real Madrid set to take on FC Barcelona.
