Africa will be represented by four clubs at the 2025 edition of the Club World Cup: Espérance de Tunis, Mamelodi Sundowns, Wydad, and Al Ahly.

The tournament will take place from June 15 to July 13 with 32 clubs taking part. Here are four African stars to keep your eyes on at the Club World Cup.

Youcef Belaili

The Algerian international will be the technical leader for Espérance de Tunis at the Club World Cup. In 35 matches during the 2024-2025 season, Youcef Belaili has scored 19 goals and provided 16 assists.

Emam Ashour

The Egyptian international is the powerhouse of the Cairo club, thanks to his versatility that allows him to play both as a midfielder and as a forward. He has featured in 39 matches, racking up an impressive tally of 19 goals and 9 assists.

Nordine Amrabat

The former Atlas Lion joined the Egyptian football giant during the last transfer window as a free agent. Despite his age, he made a mark in a friendly match against FC Porto.

Lucas Ribeiro Costa

The Brazilian winger is the driving force behind the South African club, known for his finishing skills and tactical awareness. In 48 matches played, he has netted 20 goals and delivered 13 assists.
