Transfer market: Lens raises Hervé Koffi's price
Hervé Koffi is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career with Auxerre in Ligue 1. Sought after by several clubs, Lens—the club holding the Burkinabe international goalkeeper's contract—has now tripled his price tag.
Angers are keen to keep Hervé Koffi, whose loan runs until the end of the season. Other Ligue 1 sides, such as Saint-Étienne, have also shown interest in the 29-year-old shot-stopper.
According to Africa Top Sports, the "Sang et Or" are demanding around €8 million for the former Sporting Charleroi goalkeeper. This hefty price tag could hamper the ambitions of clubs hoping to sign him.
While Hervé Koffi's contract runs until 2028, he could return next season to take up the number one spot between the posts for Lens.
