Transfer market: Manchester United ready to lure this Real Madrid mainstay

According to Fichajes, Manchester United are preparing a significant offer to secure the services of one of Real Madrid’s key players as early as the winter transfer window.

The player in question is Federico Valverde. The Uruguayan midfielder, a true pillar of the Madrid club in recent seasons, is reportedly on the radar of United’s management, who are considering tabling a bid in the region of €80 million.

Under contract with Real until 2029, Valverde remains a vital part of Carlo Ancelotti’s set-up. The Spanish club is therefore in no rush to let him go and would only consider a sale if an exceptional offer were to arrive.
