Are we heading for a showdown between Wessam Abou Ali and Al-Ahly? The Palestinian striker has received six official offers. One of the suitors is reportedly ready to offer him $7 million—five times his current salary in Egypt.

The Red Devils have made it clear they won’t allow the player to leave, a stance reiterated in a meeting between Abou Ali, club president Mahmoud Al-Khatib, and technical director José Ribeiro.

Nevertheless, the 26-year-old striker seems determined to leave Egypt this summer, especially after his stock soared following his historic hat-trick against FC Porto (4-4) at the 2025 Club World Cup.

The former Sirius (Sweden) player has also voiced his frustration over “fake news” regarding his desire to stay at the club or negotiate a contract extension.
