Transfer window: Stade Rennais refuses to give up on Hamza Igamane

New reports reveal that Stade Rennais is still determined to sign Hamza Igamane in this summer transfer window.

According to Foot Mercato, Stade Rennais remains highly interested in Moroccan striker Hamza Igamane. The forward delivered an outstanding season in Scotland with Glasgow Rangers, netting 16 goals and providing 3 assists in 46 matches for the Scottish side. For a long time, LOSC were leading the race for his signature and even reached a contractual agreement with the former AS FAR Rabat player. However, to date, the northern club has yet to submit an official offer to Glasgow Rangers, though they have not ruled out doing so.

This represents a golden opportunity for Rennes, who are keeping the lines of communication open to sign the Moroccan international, who himself is eager to compete in Ligue 1. Feyenoord Rotterdam, Udinese, and Everton are also keeping a close watch and are preparing their own moves for Igamane, whose transfer fee could reach €15 million.
