Benin international Steve Mounié could well be heading to Angers this summer.

At SCO Angers, striker Esteban Lepaul might be packing his bags in the coming days for a move to Rennes. In anticipation, the SCO management is already covering its bases and is potentially seeking a replacement for the former Lyon man. According to L'Équipe, the Angers side has their sights set on Steve Mounié. The Beninese forward is under contract with Augsburg, where he signed last summer after four seasons at Brest.

At the moment, negotiations have yet to begin between the two clubs. If Rennes gets closer to meeting Angers' demands for Lepaul—set at €25 million—then SCO will likely go on the offensive to sign Mounié.
