Here are the 5 highlights of the U-17 AFCON group stage.

Alynho Haïdara: the Ivorian striker leads the tournament's scoring chart with an impressive tally of 6 goals. Already compared to Victor Osimhen, the young Elephants star won't stay long in Côte d'Ivoire, with a potential move to Europe planned for when he comes of age.

Asharaf Tapsoba: With 4 goals, the Burkinabé forward holds the second spot in the scoring chart. At just 15 years old, the Real du Faso player is also expected to move to Europe soon.

Ilies Belmokhtar: The Moroccan winger scored 3 goals in 3 matches during this U-17 AFCON final phase. The AS Monaco talent is expected to bolster the "Atlas Lions" in the coming years.

Abdellah Ouazane: The Moroccan midfielder is undoubtedly one of the best players in this U-17 AFCON thanks to his exceptional technical skills. Currently playing with Ajax Amsterdam, he is already being sought after by Paris Saint-Germain.

Ibrahima Sory Sow: The Senegalese midfielder is considered by many experts as the MVP of the tournament's group stage. A very technical player, he also shines with his expertly executed set-pieces.
