U-20 AFCON: Who are the 5 big absentees from the tournament?
Several young stars will be missing from this new edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (U-20 AFCON) which will take place from April 27 to May 18, 2025.
Scheduled outside the FIFA calendar, this competition will be marked by the absence of several talents retained by their respective clubs.

Here are the 5 big absentees from the Africa Cup of Nations (U-20 AFCON).
Amara Diouf
The Senegalese forward is still not fit to return to competition after suffering a torn knee ligament. The new phenomenon of Senegalese football is expected to play again starting next month.
Anas Haj Mohamed
The Tunisian striker has been held back by his Italian club Parma, which is languishing in a less than glorious 16th place in the Italian league. To recall, he participated in 15 matches this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Axel Kayombo
