Victor Osimhen: Agreement in place between Napoli and Galatasaray
Victor Osimhen

It's official for the Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen. A final agreement has been reached between Napoli and Galatasaray for the transfer of the former African Ballon d'Or winner.

Victor Osimhen will finally leave Napoli. The terms of the deal between Napoli and Galatasaray have been revealed by Gazzetta dello Sport. The deal is set at €40 million to be paid immediately, followed by another €35 million by 2026. The most surprising detail is that Galatasaray will not be allowed to sell Osimhen to an Italian club before 2027, under penalty of a heavy fine that would double the purchase price.

Aurelio De Laurentiis was adamant that the Nigerian would not return to Serie A in another shirt within a year. And with good reason—there's every chance he'll shine again at Galatasaray.

In peak form, Osimhen will be a major asset for Galatasaray as they chase another league title and look to make a strong impression in the Champions League.
