Walid Regragui no longer has unanimous support among Moroccans
The coach of the "Atlas Lions," Walid Regragui, is more contested than ever by Moroccan supporters.
Despite an exemplary run in the qualifiers for CAN 2025 and the 2026 World Cup, the former TFC player is heavily criticized for his tactical and technical choices deemed lacking.

Some fanatics have gone as far as demanding his dismissal and the hiring of a renowned coach in anticipation of upcoming events, notably the final phase of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) seems to have complete confidence in their coach, although the situation could change during the next international break, which will notably feature a friendly derby against Tunisia.
