The head coach Walid Regragui will announce on Friday the names of the players selected for the upcoming matches against Niger and Tanzania, part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Sought after by the Red Devils, the star attraction of Club Bruges has ultimately chosen to represent the country of his ancestors.

In 37 matches played this season across all competitions, he has scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists.

Morocco gives Belgium a hard time

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is giving its Belgian counterpart a run for its money.

Under the leadership of its president Fouzi Lekjâa, it has managed to convince several players born in Belgium to change their sporting nationality, like Bilal El Khannouss, the Leicester City player, and Anass Zaroury, the midfielder from RC Lens.
