At Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappé is the superstar. Xabi Alonso discusses the French striker's crucial role within his squad.

In his post-match press conference following the thrilling 4-3 Champions League win over Olympiakos last night, Xabi Alonso praised the immense impact of Kylian Mbappé in the Real Madrid dressing room. The Spanish tactician emphasized the human and collective qualities of the French attacker, which he believes are vital for maintaining the squad's balance.

"Mbappé is hugely important, that goes without saying. His goals are fundamental, of course, but that's not all: his personality, his leadership, the influence he has on the group day in, day out... those are intangible things, but just as crucial for building cohesion and unity. The goals—that's his natural talent," said the former Bayern player.
